First, thanks to everyone for the calls, cards, and gifts. Frosty even had the nerve to show me up by sending a huge bouquet of springtime flowers (something needed up here in the dismal tundra that is Evanston). All the special thoughts were really appreciated!
Her other big suprise came tonight as I threw her a private pizza party, completed by Shrek 2 paraphenalia. Unfortunately, we even donned Shrek ears to complete the theme. We capped the night with a Baskin Robbins mint chocolate ice cream cake. In addition to the expensive wool overcoat her parents purchased for her in the states, Rachel opened a new pink coat shown in the picture below. All in all, it was a great success. Now back to that 15 page paper. As for Valentine's, neither of us have high hopes - a five minute gift swap after class may be our only fleeting moment of "romance."

Ray Ray! You are so pretty in pink! Stephie and I wish so much we could have been there to help celebrate, or at the very least...that we had thought to send you something special for your special day! Thanks for your special Valentine wishes, and we both hope your birthday made you smile! (PS- Stephie says dibs on the Shrek ears!)
That looks fun!
"A Shrek-cess?" God, you guys are corny, but I love you for it.
